CMC' Easter Show Sees Resurrection of Mark Dobbs

the Sunday CMC Motocross t h is
morning, gave the all-done nod to Pope
Pet ers , (St u), who with a silen t blessing
pulled th e trigger on the starting gat e,
and
Easter, motocross style, was
underway.
This pleasanr Sunday provided a very
welcome sight, Mark D obbs, back after
a lo ng layoff caused b y an acciden t la te
las t year, th at co st him 30% of his liver.

Ken Zahrt kept h is hot hands go ing b y
winning all three of his motos. Third
Friday night at Lions in th e 125 Exp ert ,
firs t 125 Expert and first 2 50 Expert at'
Corona Sat urday , and th en today's win
has provided the youn g man with
something like $235 .
Mike Cram and Dave Smith dueled all
day long, each on a brand new
radial-firm ed Maico. However, it was
Greg Smith on an older Maico who won
with Dave second and Mike third.
Gaylon Mosier got his share of the
CMC Easter goodies, winning the 250
Expert eve n t on his Maico over J on
Derhammer's CZ an d Greg Smith 's
Mark D ob bs-Is back in the saddle again after an accide nt at El To ro late last year.
