As high as 1 am about Corona
Raceway, is about as far down as 1 am
about the present motocross course and
its preparation (o r 1 should say it's lack
of preparation) here at Escape Country.
1 know that the powers-that-be have
spent a lot of money on this whole
Escape Country idea, but it would seem
to me that if they spent less on pretty
uniforms fo r the course personnel and
more on the course itself it would be
less of an intolerable d ust bowl. A great
number of the CMC members made
com ments that we re no t flattering.
Many just loaded up and sp lit, not
wanting to ride the th ird mota . .
Young Jim Beauchamp of San Diego
will be out of action for awhile, Jim
unl oaded on the seco nd lap of practice,
brea king his ankle.
