track was reversed for this second
session and instead of a steep up hill
with a tum midway, it was a fantastic
downhill that dropped many of the
loc k-y o ur-rear -wh eel set at the midway
tum.
The track was so challenging that the
fastest time of the day was . set by the
local hot shoe Bobby Davidson riding in
the 125 Expert class. The Open class,
however was a cro wd pleaser with a
nice aerial display com ing off a fifteen
foot uphill ramp. Over 100 riders turned
out for this event with spectators
numbering well over 500. This track
represents a monumental undertaking
for this club and is a credit to the small
southern Nevada community.
The next event to be held on th e
Boulder City Motocross track is a
benefit race for the Child Haven Center
in Las Vegas. The race will be sponsored
by the Motorcycle Racing Association
of-Nevada and will be held o n A pril 2.
We would enjoy seeing more So uthern
