There are lots o f abando ned co nd o r
nesting sites aro u nd the area of the
end uro. These are o ld sites; th ere aren 't
any condo rs with in miles th is year. But
according to the naturalists, the condors
will return to t he ir aba nd o ned site s and
th e si tes mu st not b e d isturbed . Th e
Si erra club feels th at the .condors are a n
endang ere d sp eci es. The Penguins, also
an endangered species, avoid ed the
con do r n est s and thus h opefully avoide d
th e wr ath of the forest's most dangerous
predator, the Sierra Clubber.
