li Tomac continued his late-season
surge with the 450MX class overall
win at the Maxxis Fox Raceway 2 Na-
tional in Pala, California, but it was Dylan Fer-
randis who had the bigger post-race celebra-
tion, as the Frenchman clinched the 2021
Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with
a runner-up finish. Ferrandis clinched the title
after Ken Roczen struggled in the Southern
California heat and could only muster 3-6
moto scores for third overall.
"I think I've run out of emotion," said Fer-
randis, last year's 250MX Pro Motocross
Champion and now the first rider since
Ryan Dungey in 2009-2010 to win 250cc
and 450cc Pro Motocross titles in back-
to-back years. "Today was hard; last
weekend was hard. I've pushed deep
inside to get through it. I dreamed
