We previewed the 1991 U.S. 500cc MX Grand Prix at Glen Helen Raceway,
which included an interview with the current World champ Georges
Jobe... We reported that Soichiro Honda, the founder of the Honda Motor
Company, had passed away. He was 84... Jean-Michel Bayle won the
Spring Creek round of the 500cc AMA National Motocross Championship.
Damon Bradshaw and factory teammate Doug Dubach both rode
highly modified WR500 air-cooled
Yamaha off-roaders in the race.
Bradshaw finished third overall on
the "closed-course" bike... Kevin
Schwantz won the British GP.
