Hart Tops Bad Medicine Extreme Enduro
T
rystan Hart was back on
top of the results at the Bad
Medicine at Fallen Timbers
Extreme Enduro that was held at
Wildwood Lake Raceway in Little
Hocking, Ohio, July 17-18, round
five of the 2021 AMA East Ex-
treme Off-Road Championship.
The FMF/KTM rider took over
the lead from Jordan Ashburn
by the third checkpoint on the
first lap and held the lead for the
remainder of the race.
FactoryOne Sherco's Cody
Webb won both Saturday qualify-
ing races but a crash in the first
turn of the main event contributed
to his ultimate second-place finish.
Ryder LeBlond put in another
solid race to take the final po-
dium spot on his Dulullo Racing
Husqvarna.
Webb seemed set to have a
good event by winning both Sat-
urday qualifying races. He won
the first race in a total time of
19 minutes and 18 seconds with
LeBlond just 13 seconds back
and Hart 42 seconds behind.
Keith Curtis and Taylor Robert
rounded out the top five in quali-
fying race one.
On the longer more difficult
qualifying race two, Webb finished
with a time of 39 minutes and 53
seconds. Hart was second, one
minute and seven seconds back
and Ashburn was just over two
minutes behind Webb. Robert and
LeBlond rounded out the top five.
Heavy rain made the difficult
course even more challenging
for Sunday's main event, which
would be a three-hour-plus-one-
lap format.
Magna1 Motorsports-backed
Ashburn took the early lead in the
main event and led through the
first two checkpoints on lap one.
Hart was second at the start,
and despite a first-turn crash,
