ustin Barcia rode into the record books by
giving the GasGas brand its first-ever AMA
Pro Motocross win at the Circle K Spring
Creek National in Millville, Minnesota. Barcia
(TLD/Red Bull/GasGas) went 1-2 in a masterful
performance on a fast and challenging circuit.
"It's a lot to take in," said Barcia, who had not
won an outdoor national since the final round of
2018. "I felt great on the bike all day and it's just
such an awesome feeling to be back on the top
step of the podium again. The fans were just awe-
some out there. It's been a while, but I never gave
up and left it all on the track today."
Monster Energy Kawasaki's Eli Tomac took
second overall with a 4-2.
Dylan Ferrandis, who fell twice in the second
moto, was third overall with a 2-5. The Monster
Energy Star Racing Yamaha Team rider, neverthe-
less, extended his points lead from 19 to 32 over
Ken Roczen after the Honda rider DNF'd moto
