I'm happy with my riding right now, but I've got to capitalize on those opportunities to get the win." Roczen was also in it until he had a big crash right after LaRocco's Leap, cartwheeling in the sand and dropping from third, just ahead of Ferrandis, back to sixth. He would end up with fourth overall. "I just tucked the front, and it went left-right-left on me, and it just flipped me over," said Roczen after the race. "I folded myself up, and as I was crash- ing, I braced my body. But as I was getting up, I had a gnarly cramp in my calf. I was just wait- ing there for a second, trying to stretch it out. After that I had "I was in a real dog fight the first moto but hearing the crowd cheering and screaming helped me keep pushing. We switched my rear tire to Dunlop's paddle tire after the first practice, which gave me a bit more pace. I'm feeling a lot like my old self on the bike again and think I'm ready to get back to consistently battling for podiums and wins." Three years ago, he was part of the winning French team at the '18 FIM Motocross of Nations, and then in '19 he won the 250 National class. In last year's Labor Day double- header, he placed fourth and second on his way to the 250 Pro Motocross title. His 450 win on Saturday allowed him to extend his series points lead to 13 over Ken Roczen after four of 12 rounds. FIRST TO 10TH Jalek Swoll, winner of the last 250 round at High Point, had an off-day in his first race since getting his first career professional win, finishing 10th overall with 8-14 moto scores.
