"It sure feels good to get that
first moto win under my belt," said
Cianciarulo who has a recent
history of falling while leading,
and did, in fact, fall in the very
last turn when he got tangled up
with a lapped rider, though he
was able to get his bike up and
running quick enough to still get
the win over the battling Ferrandis
and Roczen.
Cianciarulo was also leading
the second moto early but was
overtaken early by his teammate
Tomac. "I thought I had a decent
sized gap in the second moto,
but Eli was flying and caught me
a bit off-guard," said Cianciarulo.
"Fair play to him and the others,
they rode amazing. I honestly be-
in the same positive way. The
response to the track conditions
for riders was overwhelmingly
positive.
The 450MX National started
with a start-to-finish win for
Adam Cianciarulo, the 2019
AMA 250MX Champion. Honda
teammates Chase Sexton and
Ken Roczen gave chase early,
followed by Star Racing Yama-
ha's Christian Craig and Red Bull
KTM rider Cooper Webb. First
Craig and later Sexton would
go down, leaving Roczen and
Ferrandis, who started seventh,
to get together and start a battle
for the runner-up position behind
Cianciarulo that was eventually
won by Ferrandis.

fans who visit their activation tent,
and then donuts literally go like hot
cakes. He also announced on social
media that whoever had the best
Jett Lawrence/donuts sign would
get an autographed race jersey,
and dozens of fans came out with
homemade costumes, banners,
balloons and more. After the overall
250 podium Lawrence stayed there
taking photos with his fans and their
donut paraphernalia and gave away
six pairs of autographed goggles.
The current 250MX points leader
says he plans on doing this for his
fans at each event.
