1 ELI TOMAC
450SX (5-3)
Eli Tomac bounced back a er a disap-
poin ng fi h on Tuesday. "I feel like
I was riding a lot be er in the main
event than I was during the heat race
or prac ce," Tomac said a er Atlanta
3. "This track layout had the longest
whoop sec ons we've seen all year
and it took me a while to get them
dialed. Before the main event, I had
the team make a last-minute change to
the suspension and that slight change
made a world of difference that
showed in the main. I was cornering
faster, skimming the whoops and able
to make up me on the riders ahead."

250SX WEST (4-1)
"It was amazing!" Nate Thrasher said
a er Saturday's win. "The LCQ wasn't
part of the plan, but I went down a er

to get a good gate pick for the LCQ. I
grabbed the holeshot and just tried to
stay calm and cool because the LCQ is a

in and tried to keep myself from ge ng
super red because I knew I had a long
main event coming up next. We had a
red flag, but I ended up ge ng a great
start both mes. Then Jus n made a
li le mistake, and I capitalized on it and
tried to put in solid laps and ended up
with the win. It feels so great."

The duo started up front in the
450SX main event. Suspense
was high, as it was do-or-die for
Roczen's championship hopes.
As the leaders blitzed the first
