T
he Peach State sure offered a fruitful harvest of juicy race action
during Supercross's residency at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Taking cues from the flat-out banking turns of the surrounding
NASCAR facility, the tracks for rounds 14 and 15 set the stage for some
wide-open racing. After the checkers flew at Atlanta 1, the series looked
to be locked down by Cooper Webb, who logged a safely played third-
place finish. Just a few nights later, however, the tables turned and
Webb's title rival Roczen proved that this fight isn't over just yet. Fans
were treated to three different winners in three rounds for the 450SX
class, while the blue crew of Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha
Team cleaned up in the small-bore division.
