ing third in his heat and then finish a
distant sixth in the main a er star ng

day," he said. "I kind of struggled with
the track a bit and trying to find the
comfort, which unfortunately didn't
happen. I'm going back to California
this week to do some work, get more
comfortable so we can head into Texas
and crush it. I'm definitely not pleased
with the results today, so I'm trying to
put this one in the past."
15 DEAN WILSON
10TH 450SX
For the third week in a row, Dean Wilson
qualified for the main event by winning
the LCQ. With a not-so-favorable gate
pick in the main, Wilson didn't get the
best start as he rounded the opening
lap in 15th but he pushed himself into a
top-10 ba le within the first few laps and
ul mately secured a season-best finish
of 10th. "My night was a bit even ul,"
Wilson said. "I was in qualifying posi on
in the heat race, and I tried to make a
pass in the last corner and crashed in the
rhythm sec on before the finish, so I had
to go to the LCQ. I was the far outside
gate in the main and didn't get a good
start at all, but I just plugged away and
ended up with a top-10. It's not great but
it's a star ng point."
