He was still happy to land on the 450SX podium for the first time. (Right) Ken Roczen won his heat race but wasn't happy about the 450SX main event after getting a bit roughed up by Cooper Webb in the first turn. Roczen's points lead is now down to just two after finishing fourth. Briefly... NO ZACH Zach Osborne missed the Daytona Supercross due to a back injury sustained during the week leading up to the previ- ous round. After racing through the pain in Orlando, Osborne made the tough decision to sit out Daytona as he continues to recover and strengthen his body. "I've undergone some treatment this week and I feel that I'm on a good path to recovery as well as eliminating this from happening in the future," Osborne said. "I look forward to being back with my team as soon as I'm fully fit and ready to race again." STITCHED UP Jordon Smith gutted out the night after crashing in the after- noon qualifiers, which resulted in having to get stitches. He was second in his heat and 10th in the main. "Tonight was definitely a rough one," Smith said. "After crashing in qualify- ing and really being unsure if I would even be able to race the rest of the day, I would say we pulled off a good result. I did my best to fight through the pain and ride as smoothly as possible." Honda HRC's Chase Sexton, who was making his return after a shoulder injury, also visited the doctor for stiches. "In the second practice, I tried a wall jump but landed hard in the next jump face; I put a hole through my lip and chipped my tooth re- ally bad, which was frustrating." Sexton went on to finish eighth in the main.
