ven though the Memorial Day
weekend Springfield Mile was
rained out, there were still some
productive things going on over
the weekend thanks to Johnny
Lewis and the Illinois Motorcycle Dealers Association. Lewis,
along with fellow racer and series
points leader Brandon Robinson,
visited St. John's Children's Hospital to meet with young racing
fans. Lewis also coordinated his
very first charity event to raise
awareness for March of Dimes
- "working together for strong,
healthier babies."
With the support of the IMDA,
TJ Burnett Farms, and Keares
Renewable Energy along with
Latus Motors Racing Triumph,
the "The Johnny Lewis 2-Lap
Dash for March of Dimes" took
place on the legendary Springfield Mile on Saturday, May 25.
