IIIMY OWN RACE:
came a er si ng out the first qualifying
session with a mechanical. "The day
started off crazy," Craig said. "I just felt
off all day and then had a mishap in one
of the prac ces and couldn't get my bike
started. I had to miss a whole qualifying
session. So that kind of set the tone for
the whole day. I just kept my head clear
and had a decent heat race. I went into
the main event confident in my ability
to do it. Colt made a mistake early on. I
was able to capitalize on it and get away
early to break away with a nice gap and
then ride my own race."

Marvin Musquin finished out the Indy
residency on the podium a er seem-
ingly one frustra ng race a er another.
"My goal tonight was to stay on two
wheels and be pa ent," he said. "The
last two or three rounds it's been super
frustra ng for me. I've been very ag-
gressive trying to make it happen in the
first lap and ended up going down, so
tonight I wanted to be pa ent. I was the
fi h best guy tonight, but it's racing and
the two guys in front of me went down
so I got third. It definitely feels good to
be on the podium, I'll take it."
