AMA EnduroCross title.
"This was a good race for me,
and Barcelona is a great place
to get a win," said Brown. "I won
a Supercross race here quite a
few years back and I really enjoy
coming to Barcelona. I got off
to a good start and just kept my
head down and didn't look back.
I had a few scary moments, but
overall I ran a good race."
Blazusiak, who won the first
of the four X Games Enduro X
races in Brazil, pushed Brown
hard for most of the race, along
with Rockstar Energy/Lucas Oil/
JCR Honda's Colton Haaker and
American Beta's Cody Webb, as
all four ran in nose to tail for the
first half of the race.
Brown got a bit of breathing
room late in the race when Webb
went down on lap eight. Then
Blazusiak went down on the final
lap, leaving Haaker alone in second.
On the final lap, Brown got
hung up in a rock pile, opening the door for Haaker, but the
Honda rider was too far away to
capitalize and Brown rode on to
an uncontested win.
