ent ball game. That's where I was
before March. I've been down
there seven weeks riding in it to
get used to the terrain. And now
I'm going back a week before the
race to get used to it again.
You just turned 41. Do you
feel that old when you get on
the bike?
No, I don't.
Does it take more time for
you to recover from a race
than it did a few years ago?
No, I don't think so, but that's
because I stay in good shape. In
EnduroCross, you don't really get
sore from that, but like in motocross, if I don't do that for a long
time then my legs get sore when
I go back and race it. I don't feel
bad; it's the same as when I was
20, really. I'm probably in better
shape now. The training is a little
different now.
Jack of all trades: Brown will now
shift gears and head to Baja for the
500.
How much longer do you
think you can go?
As long as I'm doing good. I
don't want to be out there running
in the back. It's all about how I'm
doing and how I feel. If I keep on
riding like I am now I would love
to ride again next year. I hope I
CN
can go another year.
