Grove doubleheader.
"It was for sure the best
weekend for us, by far," Daniels
said. "The whole Estenson Rac-
ing team has been busting their
butts week in and week out, and
it shows with our 1-2 finish last
night and our win tonight. Now
I am the guy that everybody is
shooting for. I've never been in
this position before, so it'll be
interesting. I'm just going to treat
every weekend like I did before
and just try to win races."
Lying in wait for any mistake
from Daniels, was Roof Sys-
tems of Dallas rider Trent Lowe.
Unfortunately for Lowe, no such
mistake ever happened, but
Lowe was able to secure second
Racing 1-2 finish. Wells' third-
place result was his first podium
of the season for the Waters
Autobody Racing/D&D PowerS-

a win in his semi. Although he
didn't have pole position this
time around, he grabbed the
holeshot and went unchallenged
for his third win of the season,
the only rider in the class to have
more than one win so far this
season. His win combined with
series points leader Henry Wiles'
struggles on the slick, grooved
track, catapulted Daniels to
the championship lead with a
34-point gain at the Williams
Mischler on the Roof Systems
DFW/Duffy Fleet Services KTM
450 SX-F coming through.
Rush passed Wells into turn
three to take over the lead with
four laps to go and held onto
it for his first win of the season
with his new team.
"It feels great," Rush said. "I
really wanted to do that for the
guys. To get this opportunity with
the Estenson Racing crew was
just a dream come true for me.
It feels great to finally get one for
them."
His young teammate made
a late charge for the podium,
passing Mischler in turn three
and then on the last lap he
passed Wells for an Estenson
