"I feel like this has been a magical
week for me," Morbidelli said. "Every-
thing had been going well, so going
into today I was thinking that maybe
something good would be possible.
Turns out, it was something great! I
have never won a world champion-
ship race at home before, so to do it
in MotoGP is the greatest achieve-
ment in my life. Seven years ago, I
was racing here with a stock 600, now
I'm winning a MotoGP race. It's just
amazing."

"When I arrived at Misano my goal
was to finish the race," Bagnaia says,
s ll with a broken leg a er his Czech
Republic crash. "Saturday during FP3
when I started thinking only about
driving and not about the leg I saw
that I could push and I felt the same
sensa ons as Jerez. I didn't have a
great start and I lost some posi ons so
I had to close the gap from Mir. Once
I passed Mir I saw that I had some to
go and take the leading group. I didn't
think of anything anymore, just to
make my first podium in MotoGP in
the home GP in front of the fans."
