A month after his shocking accident with Johann Zar- co in Austria, Morbidelli made good on a second-place grid slot behind lap-record breaker Maverick Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha), taking the lead at turn one from Valentino Rossi and never looking back. A MONTH AGO, FRANCO MORBIDELLI WAS THE VICTIM OF ONE OF MOTOGP'S MOST TERRIFYING ACCIDENTS. HE PUT THE PAST BEHIND HIM AT HOME IN MISANO WITH HIS FIRST MOTOGP WIN.
