Har ris m ade a gutsy pass on the big down hill to gra b the lead. Tay- lor was me thodically muscling h is way up into second. On lap three. Ta ylo r gave Harris a dose of his own medicine . usi ng the sa me downhill hero pass that Harris himself had uti- lized ea rlier to take the lead. Ha rris reta lia ted Pro Purse to exceed in the finish -line turns , leaving Taylor clawing toward the fro nt o nce agai n . Th e n Taylor made a determined pass on lap six and held on to the checkers for th e wi n in the 125cc Pro class. Harris also charged un til the las t and missed out by only a nose. The BOce ho tshoes we re also on ha nd at Mes q uite . and the 80cc (7· 11) class featured some fu n racing . Tracon K irk led the first outing . wit h Ronni e Goodwi n a nd Dan iel Felix right be hi nd him . Ki rk shot o ut in fron t quickly as Brodi e Humphries m ov ed in to challe nge Felix f or second. K irk put it to his co mpetitors j ust as he had in t he fi rst rac e, establ ishing a dom in an ce tha t wo uld leave no do ubt as to who would be th e overall 8 0 c c ( 7 · 1 1) winner. Fe lix and Hum p hries were engaged in a sti ff duel fo r second , which Hum p h ries eve ntually won . B.J . Tipping ga ted well and took the lead , while Stiles got trapped behind two other riders. Stiles pushed his way t o th e front of the pa ck in an attempt to run d own Tipping . On the whit e - flag lap, h e c aug ht th e Suzuki rider and m ade the pass for th e l ead . T ipp ing , h ow e v er, immed iatel y pas sed Stil es back and held on for th e m oto win . In th e seco nd race. Stiles grabbed th e lead o ff th e gate and di sappeared.
