Dimick wa s look ing to m ake th ings easier this time around. and he ran third. Rudy Kovac wa s fourth. First-moto winn er Calia mov ed up to fifth by the end of lap o ne . Amaradio and Min ert resumed th ei r battle from moto one, only thi s tim e Arn aredi o re fused to m ake a mistake. Calia moved for ward steadil y. and by halfw ay he was th ird.
