Rya n St. Cyr gated sec ond , but Justi n S m ith ble w by bot h Starnes and St. Cyr on th e firs t la p. Ch a se Romero a lso g ot a ro u n d Starnes on th e opening lap. Sm ith went down o n the second lap , which opened up the lea d as the riders rap id ly cha rg ed for pos it ion . Rom ero got by St. Cyr in s ho rt orde r. Humphrey , who ga ted s ixth , charge d forw ard and into se con d . St. Cyr held o n to third , with Thomas Hahn fourth a nd a remounted Smith in fifth by the end of the se cond la p. Humphrey c h a sed d own Rom ero to take the lead o n lap th ree . St. Cyr fended off Hahn for a while , but Hahn finally made his move into th ird. Humphrey sta yed close to S m ith for three laps befor e Smith wa s abl e to sh ake loo se a nd put a co up le of sec onds betwe en th em. Jonon grabbed the first -moto ho lesh ot and never looked back , leading Scotty Wenner stro m by five seconds at t he en d of t h e firs t lap . We nners trom went down on la p two , putting Ron ny Jac ks on in the runner-up spot, but by thi s tim e J onon had a lready garnered a IO -s ec o n d le a d . One o f th e best efforts in the first moto was put in by Kyle Cunningham, who had a les s- th a n- ste lla r start but ran fou rth by th e end of lap th ree and held the pos ition to th e fin ish. Jonon repeated his holeshot performance in moto two, with Jackson in his wake. Wi!
