Watts th en ca ug ht an d passed both Gra ves and Toye for the lead on the inside of turn two early on lap four. However, Graves wasn't going to settle for second, and on the back straigh t he drafted and pa ssed Watts to reta ke the lead . Toye was also up to th e challe nge ; he po wered past Watts on the front straight as the leaders started lap five. These two racers swapped second place twice during the co urse of tha t lap, with Toy e emerging in second at the start of lap six . He ma naged to ho ld that spot until the begin ning of lap seven, when Watts found his way around the outside of Toye rounding tum two. Despite all his efforts.
