Moto two wa s much th e same; Rooksto ol vanished and finished off his 1- 1 win . Watson ra n in second most of the race un til engine fatigue dropped him back. Byron Young too k second, a head of Brock Ch apelle , Nick Rand kie v and Ricky Wuor i. Rookstool rode at a s im ila r pa c e in th e 80 cc Ag e Group contest. He polishe d off th e competition in the 80cc (1 2 - 13) c las s, a he a d o f Ke n n e t h Hammontre e (2- 2) and Chapelle (4 4) . In the 80cc (7- 11) class, Young , who traile d Rookstoo l in both m otos , score d t he w in ah ead o f Cu rt is S we ez e y (2 -2) and Kyle Tho mps on (4 -3 ). Th ompson 's wins in th e 125cc a nd Be fo re The Hill Jun io r cla sses were no su rp rise, a s h e' s e njoyed d om ina nce all s e a s on long. On th is day , he won three of the fou r m otos he contested. Only Yamaha rider Brod y Bax ter wa s able to stop Th omps on , in th e s e c ond Before The Hill mo t o , although Thompson 's 1- 2 placings netted him the overa ll win ahead of Bax ter (3 -1 ) and Aa ron Tu nne ll (4 3 ). Th ompson led Ryan Hue ge (3 -3 ) and Justin J ens en (5-2) into t he top thr ee in th e 125c c J unio r class.
