North Texan Ma rshall Smith wa s o n fire in the first 65cc (10 -11 ) moto . He swallowed up th e hole s hot and led th e first two laps of the race . West T e xan J effr ey F isher was a t Ma r shall' s ba ck tire and made his move for the lead on lap three, bu t Marsh all counte re d o n the final la p to retake the front spot a nd hang on to it to the ch e c k ere d fla g . Kyle Cunn ingha m s uffered a les s -t ha n- ste lla r sta rt, but he wor ke d diligen tly toward th e fro nt to finish s econd behind Marshall , followed by Cod y Stark and th en Fisher. In the second m oto, a c harged -up Richard Wh ite grabbed the hol es hot and hit the course in fu ll throttl e . Cunni ngham was at Wh ite 's re ar whe el and he overtook the le a de r by th e e nd of th e firs t lap. Stark chased Cunningham into la p two in second , followed by Brandon Pipk in and Fish e r. On lap two , Fish er caught u p to Pipkin a nd pa s s ed him for thi rd a nd th en began to close the gap between himself and Sta rk . Cunningham went d own befo re t he tr iple ; S ta rk to o k over the lead and Fisher was s ec on d . Cunn ingham re m o u n t e d to fin is h t h ird, foll ow ed by Chad Bryant a nd Mar shall Smith. Stark' s 3 - 1 score was good en ough for th e ove ra ll win.
