On e of th e yo ungest riders in the field , Nic Randklev, scored a decisive overall w in with 1-1 fin ishes. Randklev was initially challenged by Wuori in both motos, but Wuori fell off the pace and was eventually p icked off by one of the oldest riders. 14year-old Kyle Adkins; Adk ins (3 -1) , Wu ori (2 -3), J erry Bra swell (4- 4) and loca l rider Aaron McClinton filled out the top five overall. Yamaha rider D ev in Connaghan prevailed in the Before The Hill Int er mediate class, posting I- I wi ns ahea d of his brother, Sean , but after a m otoone win in the 2 50cc Intermediate class , Connag ha n could not repeat hi s earlier success and Hon d a-mo unted Neil Nightengale t oo k the overall w in , ahead of Co nnagha n, Ry an Koeze r and KTM rider Eri c Rogers. A good battle was waged in th e 250cc Pro class between local rider Ry an Leac h and Suzuki -mo u nted Ga ry Terlecki.
