Witmer came out on fire with the second m oto hol eshot. Bigelow hounded Witmer in the
early goi ng . Then Feist go t by Bigelow and set
out aft er Witmer. Feist m ad e hi s bi d for th e
lead with a good block-pass in a tigh t come r.
Witmer rallied down th e stra ight and to ok a
faster outside lane. Feist came back again with
a bloc k -pass in a ti ght switchba ck area . Witm er answered back with an outs ide berm line
and retook the lead and held it to the chec kers.

knowing a win would give him the overall, pressured Bate y th e enti re m ot o. Despit e the constant pressure, Batey kept his coo l and crossed
