The Pam o Ho nda rider ended the drought in Brou , France , on "Ho liday Monday," J un e 12 , after trading mota wins w ith fellow Frenchman M ickael Pichon, on the Corona Suzuki. Pichon jumped out to a comfortable lead i n the first mota, while Bailey settled in just inside the top 10. Pichon was cruising un til he went down an d broke his fro nt brak e, which allowed Ba iley to close in lat e in the race. The last few la ps, Pichon and Bailey ba ttl ed back and forth, until Pichon crossed the finish line in fi rst place. M ike Kazmar, of Wildomar, Califom ia, was awarded a brand-new Toyota Tundra pickup truck, a brand-new Yamaha VZ250 dirt bike and a $4 000 spending spree with Parts Unlimited. The contest had people registering at local Yamaha and Toyota dealerships during the SX season in hopes of a chance to go to the final round in Las Vegas as one of 15 finalists for the grand prize. Acco rding to a press release fro m Ducati, four-t im e W o rld Su perb ike Ch ampi on Carl Foga rty won't be back to racing as quickly as originally thought. Although the fracture of the left humerus bone in Foqarty 's uppe r arm is almo st com ple te ly healed. he still has work to do in order to increase muscle strength in the arm. Fogarty, who was hoping to retum in time for the Brands Hatch round of the series , will now undergo a program that include s swimming, electro stimulation and a special amino-acid -based diet to spe ed up mu scle recovery.
