Alex Gobert (Han) carded an 8-7 fini sh in the Superb ikes and a best of fif th in t he S up e r spo rt races . Spud Walters (Yam) won the Westem Four-Stroke National Serie s round at the Hungry Valley ORV Park in Go rman, California, on June 11. Dustin Nelson (Yam) finished second and Rich Taylor (Suz) was t hird. As you can see in the photos, several riders, including Doug Chandler, Miguel DuHamel, Scott Russell and Aaron Yates, all stood a chance at runn ing over Rapp. That he walked away and actually restarted the race probably a bona fide miracle.
