The runni ng order at the start of the fou rth lap wa s Tupa , Albach. Chandler, Zingg a nd J ohn Bonjov. As the pack rac ed up the uphill. Chandler got to the inside of Alba ch and mad e the pass. o nly to be repassed ag a in at the bottom of the dow nhill. With only two laps to go. the running o rde r in the t op five stayed the sa me, ex c ep t for a late-mote pass by E ric Hawes th at moved him into fifth . Th e second rnoto started out as a carbon copy of the first . with Tupa a nd Cha ndler out front. Zingg in t hird an d Alb a c h b a c k in eig hth . Whe n the pack went up the up hill on the second lap. Albach moved from fifth to fourth . an d then he tried a kamikaze pass on both Zingg and C ha n d ler o n t he downh ill. Alba ch got out of control and nea rly d ipped Zingg 's bars. a nd then high-sided over Chand le r. Zingg p lo wed into Alba c h 's m ang led Suz uki but sta yed uprig ht, though he lost valua ble time to Tu pa a nd Chandler .
