Team Green/Thousand Oaks Kawasaki/ Pro Circuit-backed Smith owned the 125cc Intermediate and 125cc Open classes on both Saturday and Sunday. Jonon raced at the controls of the 60cc (7 -11) and 80cc (7 - 11) events. The 125cc Intermediates were doublegated with the 125cc Pros. Chase Reed led the first gate to the first tum, setting the pace for the Pro division. Smith shot off the gate like a rocket, setting a blistering pace for the Inter~ mediate ranks. Smith was followed by Randall Williams until Shane Doughty passed him on the first lap for second. Cody Rheinlander raced in third for two laps before he was passed by Taylor Watts and Ryan St. Cyr. Buzz Mayfield trailed in seventh at the end of the first lap but worked his way to fifth by the end of the race, ahead of Rheinlander. Meanwhile, among the Pros, Reed led Derek Gerdes, Nathan Hale and Adam Mennenga. Mennenga passed Hale for third, but Hale got Mennenga back. Mennenga harassed Hale for two more laps, passing him on the last lap to take third at the checkers. Reed and Smith both repeated their holeshot efforts in moto two. Mennenga chased Reed in second in the Pro ranks, while J.J. Pecsok chased Smith off the gate in the Intermediates. Pecsok held second for two laps before Doughty moved by on the third lap. Waylon McCulloch charged from ninth on the first lap to finish fourth, displacing Watts on the final lap. Smith grabbed both holeshots in the 125cc Open class for a double moto win. McCulloch finished second to Smith in the first moto, followed by Doughty, Watts and Pecsok. Doughty took second in mota two for the same position overall, followed by Pecsok, Watts and McCulloch. McCulloch took third overall. Pecsok and Watts rounded out the top five. Smith's winning streak continued on Sunday, as he once again won all four motos of the 125cc Intermediate and 125cc Open events. Jonon cleaned house on both Saturday and Sunday, sweeping up all eight moto wins in the 60cc (7·11) and 85cc (7·]]) classes. On Saturday, Jonon led Brandon Miller to the checkered flag in the first 65cc (10-11) moto and did the same to Ryan Dungey in moto two. Jonon took the holeshot in Sunday's 65cc (10- 11) event. Dungey gated second and put it in cruise control. Sean Baird locked up third, followed by Trey Canard, Kyle Cunningham, Brandon Pipkin and Richard White.
