MARION, OH, FEB. 12-13
Tommy Collier, aboard his F&S-backed Suzuki, took top honors in the 125 and 250cc Pro
main events at rounds nine and 10 (of 13) of
20 Hardrack Cycle Park.FL
27 Aania Pass.GA
the eighth annual American Motosports Arenacross Championship, presented by OMS,
Voltz, MPS, Bo's Radical Racers, Skat Motorcycle, Robinson's Fast Boys. John's Kawasaki/Yamaha, Hinds Power & Motosports. and
Pro-Action Suspension.
Collier was untouchable on the weekend,
despite the rugged competition. The crowd
cheered as Collier showed his talent, performing a sidewinder jump over the triple and then
heading for the checkered nag.
Several riders proved that they can keep
their motorcycles ahead of the pack, earning
victories in their divisions on both days. Zach
Ames, aboard his Skat Motorcycle-backed
KTM, sewed up victories in the 65cc (7-'11)
and Mini Junior classes. Gavin Gracyk
charged his factory Kawasaki into the lead in
the Schoolboy division. David Whitcraft consistently put his Suzuki at the head of the pack
in the 250cc Band 16-24 divisions.
In the 250cc C class, Andy Conklin rode
his Honda to the win. Mike Russell won the
Open class aboard his Suzuki.
In the Veteran classes, Chuck Nicholson
powered his Suzuki to victories in the Over 30
division. James Burton charged his way to the
checkers in the Over 40 class.
In the Micro (7-8) division, Shawn Rife
launched his Cobra out front for a winning
weekend. Cobra tamer Bradley Baker dominated the Micro (4-6) division.
