Ripple currently holds the top spot in the 250cc class: and Team BooKoo Energy's Tiger Lacey is the top money-earner in the Dash For Cash after round three. Jeff Willoh on the GP5 Racing/Storm Lake Honda went down in Denver Friday night, and was sidelined for the weekend, after posting a second-place finish in the 250cc main event in St. Louis the previous weekend. "I was running a strong heat race and felt great on the track," Willoh said. "I came up on the step-off jump, and my bike bogged a bit, causing me to case the jump after it, and go down. Then I was hit by another bike, and it just went downhill from there. I was sure I had a broken foot, but everything checked out fine, and I'll be back in West Valley, ready to go." Another Veteran, Damien Plotts, has been one of the fastest on the track since the series launched in Fort Worth, November 4-5. Plotts, racing for Crossroads Powersports/Rossini Racing, has clocked some of the fastest practice times each week, took home the Dash For Cash in round one, has a pair of podium finishes in each class, and is sitting in sixth place in the overall championship points. Lacey, Casey Hinson, Demuth, Woods, Shane Bess and Tom Hofmaster have been filling the starting gate for the main events each night in the BooKoo series, and the battles for the race win have been coming down to the final lap in most cases. Round four of the series is scheduled for the E Center in West Valley City, just outside Salt Lake City, Utah, December 2-4. eN Ii!5"HANNUAL GIQUr IVDP'P INTERNATIDNAL MOTORCYCLE OWB.
