"All we can do is try to do what
we did today," said Tomac who
followed Red Bull KTM's Marvin
Musquin home in the first moto
and then won a blistering finale
over Yamaha's Justin Barcia. "Got
to try to be the guy at the top at
the end of the day with the most
points. I'm feeling good about the
future tracks. Most of the time,
they've been pretty good to us,
and they're tracks I like."
The 250 class also saw the
points battle tighten up, but not
nearly as much, as Geico Honda's
Jeremy Martin won for the sec-
ond week in a row, also with a 2-1
moto tally. It appeared that Martin
would overtake series points
leader Dylan Ferrandis, runaway
winner of the first moto, after the
Monster Energy/Star Racing

"The first moto was just really bad
for me," said Zach Osborne. "I made
some mistakes, ran into a lapper, had
some arm pump, so it was just a li le
bit of a mess. Bounced back in the
second moto for third. I didn't have
the pace there to win, but I felt really
good on the bike, a lot be er than the
first moto."

"Dylan was going really fast in that
first moto and all I could think about
was, 'Dude, you've got to pick it up.
You've got to think of something you
can do to be be er,'" admi ed Jeremy
Mar n a er winning the second
moto. "The best thing for me was to
just get a good start and ride my own
race."
