last week behind him
and captured his first
overall win of the
young outdoor series.
He didn't dominate
the Ironman National,
unable to catch first-
moto winner Marvin
Musquin and was
under heavy pressure
by Justin Barcia at
the end of his moto-
two win, but Tomac
did finish ahead of
championship leader
Zach Osborne both
times, chopping the
Husqvarna rider's
40-point lead over
Tomac to 27. Tomac
is now fourth in the
championship.
