followed by Kevin Jansen, Dan johnson, Clark Moore and Curtis
Wharton. Holt (3-1) took the overall win, while jansen (4-2)
finished second and Halas (2-7) rounded out the podium in
third. Taking fourth was Wharton (6-5), and Johnson (9-3)
finished fifth.
Winning the Over The Hill junior class was Keith Wharton
(2-1), aboard the Mota Outfitters/JjW Designs/KDOW
Construction-backed Yamaha. Keith's win came only after some
intense battling with Junior-class newcomer Scott "e" Pirello.
Though Pirello won the first moto, he couldn't quite catch
Wharton in the second moto and had to settle for second with a
1-2 tally. K3 Racing's Kevin Birdsong (3-3) took third place, while
fourth went to Joshua Reid (4-4), and Alex Schon (5-5) took fifth.
eric Pierce was the winner of the Over The Hill Beginner
class, going I-I to win in a dominant fashion. Toby Wolfe (3-2),
Woodland expert Kai Horbrand (2-4), Scott 5ecanti (4-3) and
Lisa Moore (5-5) all followed.
One rider who has really been picking up speed lately is
Dalton Rumbalz, who dominated the 85cc Beginner class with a
I-I moto win tally. Rumbolz's closest competition came from
D.j. McBryde (2-2), who was the runner-up in both motos. Colin
Butterfield (4-3), jeffrey King (3-4) and Mark Nielsen (5-7) took
third through fifth, respectively, in the highly competitive class.
The I25ec Beginners contest was a race to watch, as there
was no telling who was going to end up with the overall win.
After some intense battling, it was Weston Ochs (3-1) who took
the overall victory. Once again just coming up short of the win
was Vincent Schuster (2-2), who had to settle for second place.
After his first-moto win, a third in the second moto set Michael
Petrina (1-3) back to third overall, followed by Matt Gellerman
(7-5) and Matt Tool (5-7).
