with Tackitt sitting second with a 4.458-second time. In the second round, the hill was really getting fast, and Tackitt flew his Honda over the top in 4.245 seconds to take the class lead and set a new fast time. But not for long. "Fast Andy" grabbed a handful of throttle and held it on, sailing over the top in an astounding 4.107 seconds to retake the lead and the Fast Time award. Justin Trent claimed third with a 4.523-second time on his Honda. In Youth action, "Jammin' Joe" McGurer turned in an excellent 5.587-second run on his first ride in the Junior Mini class. which would have held up for the class win and Youth Fast Time. but he bettered it himself with a 5.366-second secondround time on his KX85. Dakota Blakeney ran second with a 5.617-second time on his Suzuki. Mark Schroeder was a double class winner on his stocklength Yamaha YZ250. Riding in the 250cc class. he popped over the top in a very good 4.496 seconds on his first ride, which no one in the class could match aU night. Shane Green, also on a Yamaha. placed second with a 4.659-second time. Schroeder brought his Yamaha back in the 400cc 5tock class and laid down a 4.SSS-second ride in the first round - again, a time that no one in the class would match aU night. Rod Kalaher was closest with a 4.915-second time on his KX250. District 15 Hillclimb referee Scott Petty ran his Senior-class win streak to five with a 4.893-second first-round time on his CRSoo. with Kevin Bond taking second on his Honda in 5.1 I I seconds. In other Youth action, Cole Garriott took the SOc:c-c1ass win, with Logan Moody second; Brett "Wild Worm" Kalaher grabbed his 10th straight win in the 65cc class. with Dakota Blakeney placing second; and "Blazin' Blake" Cappello stretched his points lead in the Senior Mini class with a win, with John Rice scoring second.
