I had a few small problems, but that happens when you are pushing to the limit. "On day two I rode as hard as I could on the first two laps," he continued. "Then, when I saw that I was leading by over 20 seconds, I tried not to make any mistakes and controlled my lead." Finishing as runner-up to Aro on both days was Merriman. With the class win on day one just a handful of seconds away from him, on day two the Australian simply wasn't able to match the pace set by Aro. Third place in the E2 class went to two-stroke KTM-mounted riders Planet on day one and U.S. rider Kurt Caselli on day two. With Planet a seasoned WEC rider, Caselli was competing in his firstever World Championship event and impressed many with his podium finish on day two. In the Enduro 3 class, Knight continued his class domination, also finishing the second day as the fastest overall rider in any class. Struggling to concentrate clearly on day one, "Knighter" failed to win by as much as he had at previous rounds of the series but still managed to top the class by close to 20 seconds. On day two, however, the Manxman upped his pace and left his nearest rival 48 seconds behind to extend his E3 championship lead to 47 points. Finishing as runner-up to Knight on day one was French Gas Gas rider Seb Guillaume. Battling all day with Finn Marko Tarkkala, he eventually got the better of the KTM rider by four seconds. On day two, Tarkkala claimed the runner-up spot, with Husqvarna's Mika Ahola claiming third. eN CZECH REPUBUC WEC GP MOST, CZECH REPUBUC RESULTS: JULY 2-3, 2005 (ROUND 5 OF 9) Day I ENDURO I: I.
