The Youth division was the first of the classes dominated by Jase Lewis, on his Honda of Houston CRF. Tyler Horne, on another Honda, took second overall with a solid effort. Yamaha of Doraville yz jockey Jeremy Pendley took third overall. Many times, two classes will run on the track at the same time, starting on separate gates. This evening, the 125cc and 250cc A events were run together with their B-c1ass counterparts. Most of the times, the A class will start first and then the B class will start second, and the A riders will run away from the B contestants due to their overall higher skill level. Jase Lewis is a B rider. In both classes, Lewis started on the second gate but passed all the A riders to dominate the event. Horne took second in the B division, with Pendley taking third overall. The 2S0cc B event was like the I 25cc B event: Lewis beat both classes. Matt Hazelwood took runner-up B honors. Look for Lewis at Lorena's this year.
