Reese's Monkeying Around with 'em in Ramona By HOMER EUBANKS RAMONA, CA, APR. 3 arona Oaks' motocross season got under way with 308 entries providing fans with a lot of heated racing action. Most notable of the racers was Larry Reese Jr., who dominated every Pro class he entered. Everett Holcomb was another standout, as he mastered the Supermini, 85cc Intermediate and 85cc (7-11) classes. To cap things off, the club event was dedicated to recently retired board members Dominic and Gracie Buscemi. Larry Reese mastered the 12Scc Pro class, B taking back-to-back wins over Justin Hermann. Then Reese came out in the 2S0cc event gated with the Intermediates and ran away from the pack. Reese had nothing more to prove and went home before the second 250cc moto. Anthony Charette and Cas Swift also provided plenty of racing action. Charette took home the 125cc Intermediate trophy by winning the first moto when Swift rode off the track and dropped back to fourth. In the second race, Swift kept things together to take the moto win, but he had to settle for second overall.
