Six-time National Enduro Champion Mike Lafferty and national riders Robbie Jenks and Chris Gallt were in the area, and they came out to take in their first TORO event. After becoming TORO members and making a few practice laps, Lafferty, nursing a cold, commented: "We're here to get some testing done. There's a foot of snow on the ground where we're from, so this is much better for us.
