Timer Amateurs, some of whom got lapped by leaders in the first wave. Smith also contested the 12-rider 250cc Pro class. In moto one, Matt McCrummen powered his Kawasaki to ttle holeshot, but before lap one was over, he was watching Smith disappear. Then Honda-mounted Miles Warren blasted by McCrummen, and he caught and passed Smith near midmoto. Warren took the win, Smith was second and Suzuki rider Nick Davis was third. In moto two, Smith unleashed another holeshot and this time raced the whole moto in first place. giving him tlis second overall of the day. Davis followed him home in second for second overall. Bryan Clevenger made it a Suzuki sweep by parlaying a fourth and a third to third overall. Smith also won the Over 30 Veteran Master class, beating Suzuki jockey J.R. Meusling in both motos.
