Todd Stith took the 12Scc lead from Shawn
Rothstein, Joe Schueler and Nicholas
Henderson. Schueler took second on lap four.
Then Cory Texter slipped under Rothstein for
third before he regained his rhythm. The front
three stayed the same distance to the end.
The 2004 Horizon Award winner, John
Lewis, used his woods bike to win the 2S0cc
class, over Bob Sweeten and Brandon Robinson.
Youngster Robinson was pounding on wily
veteran Sweeten's rear tire on the closing laps.
Dillon Cava grabbed the 450cc lead from
Rob Smith, Scott Saunders and Tim
Bemisderfer. Saunders slipped into second
about halfway as they negotiated the lapper
minefield. Smith retook second off the fourth
turn on the following lap.
Klinefelter put his "mosquito killer" Honda in
front of Saunders, Jared Mees and Bemisderier
at the start of the Adult 100cc final. Mees took
second on lap three, and then Bemisderfer took
it about halfway. With two laps left, Bemisderfer
