With her first-race jitters gone, Hokit was ready to go again in mota two. When the flag took the lead, with Nicole Madsen in second, Hokit in third, and the rest of the pack chasing them down. Hokit and Madsen battled it out for second, remaining side by side for the rest of the race. James again took the mota win. Hokit took second by just a knobby, over checkered nag for first overall on the night, Madsen in third. On the podium, James was first, with celebrated a victory in this class. Behind him, second but got caught among some lappers, which gave Griffith some elbow room. Griffith whee lied down the straight to take the motoone win, with Provence second. In moto two, Provence took the holeshot. Griffith had trouble with his bike and wasn't able to start. Provence built a commanding lead over the rest of the pack and took the RESULTS went up, James again grabbed the holeshot and Madsen second and Mills third, Although Hokit didn't podium, she did show that she has the skill to compete in motocross. Kruz Griffith and Tommy Provence are familiar names in the Taft motorcycle-racing community. In the first Four-Stroke Junior mota, Griffith seized the holes hot, with Provence back in third. Provence caught up to Rick Diaz, riding a completely stock Honda 100, gave Halstead a reason to stay on the throttle. Diaz, running it into the corners deeper, found himself short of power exiting the turns. One bobble from Halstead was all Diaz would have needed, but that didn't happen. Jason Bernardeau finished third. Halstead returned to finish the Senior/OldTimers C event in second, behind "Uncle Scott" Taylor, Chowchilla Barn Burner's teddy bear, 50 (3-6): J.
