Jeff Blaydes and Rick Valdez were looking good all night lo ng and appeared to be ma jor players . The main got off to a shaky start. as Valdez went down realty hard ou t of turn tw o. After a few anxious moments, he was able to clim b back on his bike and make the restart . It was john Stunkard's night to shine. as he put in one of his best ride s of the season, going w ire to wire in th e qu ick fou r -Iapper. Br ian Sta rr came ho me second. wit h Valdez coming off the penalty line and co ming awa y with the s how mon e y. Blayd e s and Mike Mc Ca rt hy fo llowed. It was 3.150 annou nced that the O xleys had signe d a contract w ith the Fair Board, and the re will be a 2005 season.
