Sanna n, who finally got a full release fro m his doctor after an injuryplagued season ea rlier this year, ran in Ho rban's s ha dow d ur ing bot h mcro s. b ut Ho r b an preva ile d in bot h mo tos . San na n, r iding in "exhibitio n" stat us, trailed Ho rban but finished ahea d of Yamaha -mou nted Travis McMac kin. the overall Inte rmediate -class winn er, in both mo tes. McMackin led Aaro n McCli nto n and Kevin Petru shkin into the top three . Garza was the to p perfo rm er in the 65cc Open and 65cc (9- 1I) classes, beat ing rival Alyas Ward ius to the finish in all fo ur motos. Another rider o n th e short list of doubleclass winners was Hon da jockey Shane Skiles, who to ppe d the 125c c and Before The Hill Junior classes, the third of t he four riders to achieve such status - th e o the r being Suzu ki rider J.R. Me usling, w ho to pped t he O ver 40 and Op en Pro classes. Grant Hall and Travis McClinto n split moto victories in the 125cc Junior class , but neither co uld put t ogether a winn ing ride in the ir other mo to , wh ich aided in Skiles' Victory.
