An even 100 riders showed up to ride 23 main events on this cushion oval track under th e roof. Uttle Andrew Luker worked the cush ion to finish first in the SOc< Stoc k event. Scot t Hampto n took the SOcc Modified A win, and Bradley Daoro won in C class. One of the night' s best races was the Open Four-Stroke eve nt. Ricky Diaz and Travis Harden left the start line w heel to wheel and rode the entire race together. swapping first place several times . Eventy matched. these two drew the attention of everyone in the stands. Diaz was first to the checkers. Wease l Hickman and Bro nso n Bauman fin ished first and secon d in the O pe n Two-Stroke event. Gina Silva came back to take another victory, in front of Christine Caldeira, in the Moms ' class this week. Michelle Silva led the Powd er Puff class to the finish. Michelle also scor ed a victo ry in the 85c c class. Rod Lake Racing was we ll-re pres e nted in the barn's corrals. Spencer got the ho lesho t and to o k th e Vet A e ve nt fro m pole to pole , w ith Carriger on his back wheel all the way to the end. Carriger was back in t he saddle for the Vintage A event and took first in front of Brad Spencer in that one . Comer after co me r, Brad rod e o n Carriger's back wheel, waiting fo r a mistake by Carriger and his chance to take the fro nt spot, but it never came. Carr iger, wh o also won the money race , Is sponsored by Pinnit Motorspons and Tommy's Glass. Robert Bote n tunes for both Spence r and Carriger. Boten's daughter Jo urd an. also riding a Rod Lake sponsored bike , finished se co nd in the SOcc Be ginne r clas s, beh ind Chowchilla's own WillWallace. Co nt inuing their co mpe tit io n in the BOcc Expert class, Michael Avila and Briar Bauman pushed themsetves and their equipment to the limit. Bauman got the holeshot and just kept going. In the 1DOcc Modified event , Avila took the first spot. in front of D.]. Shar key and Bauman. Mark Biscardi continues to be a dominating force in the Vet Over ] 0 and the O ld-TImers Over 40 events. He won the O ldTimers event again on this night , followed by Steve Hall and Matt Rohr.
