"I thought maybe I'd let those guys clear the path for me, instead of being In the front all the time," Maschino said. "They did a good job at clearing the trail, but I wished they cou ld've cleared the dust for me a little bit better." Cox Promotions tried. Throughout the day, they had water trucks soak some of the trail, and the y did a great job at laying out a nice 9-mile course that consisted of tight sections, a little bit of fields, and what seem ed to be one lonely mud eN puddle that equaled everything out . After the first co rne r, Gibson wedged his way into the lead by taking a furt her line into the woods, and shortly the reafte r john Robbins cruised by while Moor e and Bach drifted to the back of the pack.
